| She
is known as the avenger of the night, a heroine not
afraid to dish out her own brand of tough justice to
criminals. She won't kill them but she will hurt them
a lot of the time. In her eyes, death is too good for
them. Slow, painful revenge is so much better. It evil
is in hiding she will find it.
She
is a master detective with a network of operatives and
an arsenal of weapons at her disposal. Dressed in black
and blue, she strikes fear into all who cross her angry
path. Traveling the streets at night in her sinister
black car, she hunts for her next victim.
But
there is someone who gives the Nightbird more help than
anyone else, someone who provides her with the technology
and hardware to fight her nightly battle with evil.
His name is Anton Hallard, a millionaire playboy and
longtime acquaintance of Emma's. Whatever she needs
he gives it to her. They share an unspoken love and
respect for each other and yet shall never bond and
become partners. They live separate lives only ever
coming together for their own mutual needs and agendas.
It is a perfect relationship which both of them have
no wish to change.
Out
of costume and in the light of day, the Nightbird becomes
Emma Hudson, a woman seen as an outcast from society.
She is perceived as a loner, someone on the edge of
darkness. She never seems to smile, always dresses in
dark clothes and is very quiet and unsociable. She's
not married and doesn't have a boyfriend, her family
are long since gone from her life. To everyone around
her she is someone to be avoided and talked about behind
her back. No one would ever suspect her dark alter-ego.
Beware
the Nightbird, for she is out there... |
